Ferrari comes to PUBG Mobile Season 31 — Speed Drift event and PC tips

PUBG Mobile's Season 31 partnership with Ferrari and Scuderia Ferrari HP brings car skins and a Speed Drift event. Here is what GameLoop PC players should know before the season closes on 11 September.

PUBG Mobile's Season 31 carries three crossover threads at once. The NARUTO SHIPPUDEN and Spider-Man collaborations have received most of the coverage, but the third partner — Ferrari, and specifically Scuderia Ferrari HP — landed alongside them when the season opened on 16 July 2026.

Ferrari is not an unusual collaborator for mobile games; the brand has appeared in several others alongside its Formula 1 team. What makes the PUBG Mobile version notable is the framing: this is a Speed Drift event rather than a cosmetics-only drop, which means there are vehicle-specific mechanics attached.

What the Speed Drift event involves

GamingOnPhone reported the event ahead of launch as bringing car skins and in-game rewards tied to Ferrari-branded content. The Scuderia Ferrari HP side of the partnership points to the Formula 1 team — Ferrari's official racing division — rather than the road-car brand alone, so the visual styling in-game leans toward race liveries rather than showroom paint.

The event name, Speed Drift, signals that the main activity is vehicle-based. PUBG Mobile already has a vehicle layer with UAZs, motorbikes, boats and the Mirado muscle car. Ferrari-themed events in similar games have previously tied branded skins to existing vehicle slots, added race-track-style circuits as temporary mode modifiers, and structured rewards around driving distance or drift mechanics.

We have not played the event ourselves and the exact reward list is in-game only. The verified points are: the collab exists, it is called Speed Drift, and it includes car skins alongside other rewards. Check the in-game event calendar for current availability — the season closes 11 September 2026 and event windows typically end before that date.

Vehicle controls on GameLoop PC

Vehicle play in PUBG Mobile benefits from a PC setup more than most players realise, because the two hardest things on a touchscreen — steering precisely at high speed and shooting from a moving vehicle — both become significantly easier with a mouse.

Steering while driving: On GameLoop, you steer by holding the virtual joystick or by using the WASD keys if your keymap assigns them to movement. WASD steering is binary — full left or full right with no analogue curve. If you find that the car oversteers on tight corners, the fix is to tap rather than hold the key, or to assign your analogue movement area to a mouse-hold zone in the keymap editor.

Shooting from a vehicle: The passenger-seat aim uses your mouse directly. GameLoop's mouse input here behaves like the third-person camera: the gun follows your crosshair. Unlike on touch, you can hold a corner accurately while a teammate drives. If you play solo, practise the driver-window shots — you exit to look through the driver's-side window, mouse-aim, then jump back in. The window-shot timing is consistent enough to become a reliable habit.

Speed Drift specifically: Drift events usually require holding a drift through a gate or across a marked zone. On touch, drifting is a combination of rapid steering taps. On GameLoop with WASD, the technique is to release the accelerate key briefly, cut the wheel, then accelerate again — the car's rear steps out reliably on dirt roads and the map's open fields. Practice once in training mode before the event if drifting mechanics are new to you.

Settings that help with vehicle-heavy play

Two GameLoop settings matter when you expect to spend more time in vehicles than on foot.

Graphics preset: Stay at Smooth + Extreme or Balanced + Ultra. The higher presets add environmental detail that can obscure opponents in the distance, but the vehicle model detail itself is similar across presets. If you are playing Ferrari content for the visual experience, Balanced or High preset will show the skin more clearly than Smooth.

Mouse sensitivity for third-person: Vehicle sections switch you in and out of third-person camera constantly. If your sensitivity settings are tuned tightly for third-person ADS, the wider-angle third-person camera while driving may feel slow. A small bump to the free-look sensitivity — in GameLoop's sensitivity panel, the third-person camera speed separate from ADS — helps you scan for threats while driving without changing your shooting feel.

Season 31 closes soon

Ferrari is one reason to log in before 11 September 2026, but not the only one. The Ultimate Royale window — the ranked mode with its own progression track inside the season — closes earlier, on 7 September 2026. The full ranked season runs to the 11th.

BGMI players should note that the season follows a different schedule: the BGMI version of the A20 Royale Pass opened on 23 July 2026, roughly a week behind the global version. Check local in-game dates rather than assuming they match.

The full Season 31 guide covers everything worth finishing before the close, including the NARUTO and Spider-Man event windows. The 4.6 update lands 9 September — two days before the season ends — and brings the client changes that Season 32 will run on.
