PUBG Mobile Season 31 on GameLoop PC — Best Settings, Keymapping and Performance Guide
Everything you need to run PUBG Mobile at peak performance on GameLoop PC in Season 31 — graphics, keymapping, sensitivity, and common fixes.
PUBG Mobile Season 31 began on 16 July 2026, alongside the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN crossover and the 4.5 update. If you are playing on GameLoop PC, this guide covers the exact settings to get the best performance and the keymapping layout that gives you a control edge in the emulator-only matchmaking pool.
Why GameLoop for PUBG Mobile
Tencent built GameLoop (formerly TGB) as the official emulator for PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile. For PUBG Mobile specifically this matters because the game keeps emulator players in a separate matchmaking pool — you are only matched against other emulator users, not touchscreen players. The anti-cheat layer is also wired directly into GameLoop, which reduces ban risk compared to third-party emulators.
Minimum and recommended PC specs
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core i3-8100 / Ryzen 3 2200G | i5-10400 / Ryzen 5 3600 or better |
| RAM | 8 GB | 16 GB |
| GPU | Intel UHD 630 / Vega 8 | GTX 1650 / RX 570 or better |
| Storage | 10 GB free (SSD preferred) | 20 GB free SSD |
| OS | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 10/11 64-bit |
| Virtualization | Must be enabled in BIOS | VT-x (Intel) / AMD-V enabled |
If your CPU supports virtualization but GameLoop shows a warning, enter BIOS and enable VT-x or AMD-V. The emulator will not run correctly without it.
BIOS: enable virtualization before anything else
- Restart your PC and press Delete / F2 / F10 during the boot screen (key depends on your motherboard).
- Find the setting: usually under Advanced → CPU Configuration (Intel) or M.I.T. → Advanced CPU Settings (AMD).
- Enable Intel VT-x or SVM Mode (AMD) → Save and exit.
If Secure Boot or Fast Boot is also on, disable them — they can block the emulator's kernel module.
GameLoop graphics settings
Open GameLoop → Settings (gear icon top-right) → Engine tab.
| Setting | Recommended value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Rendering mode | DirectX+ | Best performance on most hardware |
| Resolution | 1280×720 (mid-range) or 1920×1080 (high-end) | 720p runs smoother on integrated GPUs |
| Memory | 4096 MB (8 GB RAM) or 8192 MB (16 GB RAM) | PUBG Mobile loads many assets |
| CPU cores | 4 (leave 2 free for Windows) | More than 6 cores gives no measurable benefit |
| VSync | Off | Adds latency, no benefit for competitive play |
| Prioritize discrete graphics card | On (if you have a dedicated GPU) | Prevents iGPU from taking over |
| Rendering cache | On | Reduces stutter on repeated map areas |
| Frame rate cap | 60 FPS or 90 FPS if hardware supports | Match what you set inside PUBG Mobile settings |
PUBG Mobile in-game graphics settings
Once inside the game:
Graphics quality
- Quality: HD (Balanced) or Ultra HD if your GPU handles it without drops below 60 FPS
- Frame rate: Ultra (90 FPS) if your hardware allows, otherwise High (60 FPS)
- Anti-aliasing: Off — biggest single FPS gain
- Shadows: Off — second biggest FPS gain, and shadows slightly obscure enemies in bushes
- Realistic: Off (enable only on high-end if you want visual quality over performance)
Style and effects
- Colour-blind mode: personal preference
- Weather effects: Off for maximum visibility and FPS
- First person camera vertical FOV: 90 (gives widest field of view while ADS without distortion)
Graphics — recommended setting by hardware tier
| Tier | Quality | Frame rate | Shadows | Anti-aliasing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Low-end (iGPU, 8 GB RAM) | Smooth | Medium (30 FPS) | Off | Off |
| Mid-range (GTX 1650, 8 GB RAM) | Balanced | High (60 FPS) | Off | Off |
| High-end (RTX 3060+, 16 GB RAM) | HD | Ultra (90 FPS) | Medium | Low |
Keymapping on GameLoop
GameLoop provides a keymapping overlay that converts mouse-and-keyboard inputs to the touch inputs the game expects. For PUBG Mobile this is the single biggest advantage of emulator play.
Accessing keymaps
Inside a match, press F1 to open the keymapping editor. You can also pre-configure your layout from GameLoop's main screen → Tools → Key Mapping.
Recommended layout for PUBG Mobile (starting point)
| Action | Recommended key |
|---|---|
| Move (WASD) | W / A / S / D |
| Look / aim | Mouse movement |
| Fire | Left mouse button |
| ADS (aim down sights) | Right mouse button |
| Jump | Space |
| Prone | Z |
| Crouch | C |
| Inventory | Tab |
| Map | M |
| Reload | R |
| Loot / interact | F |
| Melee | V |
| Grenade throw | G (hold to aim, release to throw) |
| Use first-aid kit | H |
| Sprint toggle | Left Shift (hold) |
| Fire mode switch | B |
| Vehicle enter/exit | F |
| Seat switch (in vehicle) | 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 |
| Lean left / right | Q / E |
Adjust these to match what feels natural. The important rule: keep Fire, ADS, and Jump on easily-reachable mouse buttons or thumb keys, since those are your most-used actions in a firefight.
Mouse sensitivity inside GameLoop
In GameLoop Settings → Mouse sensitivity (under the game shortcut), start at 75% and adjust up or down by 5% per session until movement feels smooth without over-rotation. Too high and you cannot track at range; too low and you cannot turn fast enough in close quarters.
In-game sensitivity settings
Inside PUBG Mobile, go to Settings → Sensitivity. These are starting values to tune from:
| Setting | Starting value |
|---|---|
| Camera sensitivity (no scope) | 130–160 |
| Camera sensitivity (iron sight) | 110–135 |
| 2× scope | 65–80 |
| 4× scope | 40–55 |
| 6× scope | 25–35 |
| 8× scope | 18–25 |
| Gyroscope | Off (most emulator players disable it) |
Network and ping optimisation
PUBG Mobile emulator players are matched regionally. If you see consistently high ping (above 100 ms) during Season 31:
- Server selection: In the lobby, tap the ping display (top-right corner of the ready button). PUBG Mobile selects the best server automatically, but you can switch manually if your auto-assigned server has a worse result than a nearby one.
- Background processes: Close browsers, update services, and cloud-backup software before playing. These generate network bursts that spike your in-game ping.
- DNS: Switch your router or PC DNS to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google) for slightly faster domain resolution. This matters during map loading but has minimal effect on in-match latency.
- Wired connection: If you are on Wi-Fi, a wired ethernet connection eliminates the wireless jitter that causes lag spikes even when your average ping is acceptable.
Common PUBG Mobile + GameLoop issues in Season 31
Update not showing or stuck downloading Close GameLoop completely, reopen it, and update GameLoop itself first via Settings → About → Check for updates. Then launch PUBG Mobile via AppMarket — the game update should appear. If the download stalls, pause and resume it.
Cannot enter matchmaking after the 4.5 update PUBG Mobile season updates sometimes push a security-component update to GameLoop that must be applied before the game's anti-cheat accepts the session. If matchmaking fails immediately after an update, check GameLoop's own update check first, restart, then try again.
Black screen on launch Switch Rendering mode from DirectX+ to OpenGL in GameLoop Engine settings. If the black screen appears only after a game update, reinstalling the PUBG Mobile app inside GameLoop (delete it, then download fresh from AppMarket) usually resolves it.
FPS drop mid-match but stable in lobby PUBG Mobile loads assets as you traverse the map. FPS drops in high-density areas (military base, Pochinki) are partially normal. To reduce them: lower Shadows to Off, set Rendering cache to On, and reduce Quality by one tier. If drops persist only in Season 31 content areas, a GameLoop update often follows within a week.
Mouse cursor escaping the game window Press F9 in GameLoop to capture/release the cursor. If the cursor keeps escaping, enable Full-screen mode in GameLoop Settings rather than playing in a resizable window.
Season 31 performance notes
The 4.5 update that launched Season 31 shipped the Naruto crossover, which added costume animations and new jutsu effects. These can cause frame drops on mid-range hardware in the first few weeks as caches are being built. If your performance is worse than Season 30:
- Lower Effects quality by one step.
- Clear GameLoop's game cache (right-click the PUBG Mobile icon in GameLoop → Clear Data).
- After clearing, launch the game once and let it run through the lobby for two to three minutes before entering a match — this pre-warms the new asset cache.
Performance typically stabilises within a patch or two after each crossover launch.
