The RUS-79U fires fast and rewards pushing at SMG range. High standard and firing keep your crosshair snapping between targets in close quarters; tactical and red-dot are dialled back because the gun's best fights happen before you scope. Pair with 800 DPI and a 1000 Hz polling rate mouse. If you are dragging into a 3× by habit, consider the Ranked all-round baseline instead.
The Cronen Squall sits in CODM's AR tier and earns its keep at medium range where the 3× tactical is the workhorse optic. This config steps sensitivity down evenly from standard to 3× so the crosshair speed in-game stays roughly the same regardless of what you're looking through — the property that makes a config feel consistent rather than jarring. The 4× row is intentionally tighter, as the gun runs out of steam past that zoom.
S7 "Terminated" ranked meta rewards fast corner-clearing and punishes over-scoping. This config keeps standard and firing close together (fast hip-fire/quick ADS) and tapers smoothly down to 4×. The 1000 DPI is deliberate: at standard 115 it gives effective sensitivity mid-way between the close-range and sniper baselines, surviving both short corridors and 60–80 m holds without a config swap. Work through Veteran → Elite → Legendary; drop standard by 10 if you are overshooting.
Battle of the Bots is a team-elimination LTM where engagements happen fast and the action is densely packed. A higher standard and firing than the ranked baseline suits the constant rotations; scopes matter less (matches tend to resolve before anyone needs a 4×). The 800 DPI/130 standard combination is intentionally aggressive — in a respawn mode you can afford to play looser than in Search or ranked.
The S7 Terminator crossover events put you in timed kill-streaks where turn speed is more valuable than precision. This is the fastest of the editorial baselines — run it only for event modes, not for ranked. At 1200 DPI the physical resistance your mouse surface provides slows micro-movements naturally, so the high in-game numbers do not make ADS feel unhinged if your surface has reasonable friction.
Cronen Squall AR setup — S7 Terminated new weapon. Low recoil AR rewards sustained accurate fire. Sensitivity 55 keeps recoil manageable; pull mouse down slightly during spray. Mid-long range: ADS always. Hip-fire at CQC only. Pair with a fast SMG in slot 2 for close backup.
S7 Operator Skill Overdrive (free-for-all) setup. Overdrive mode: collect Operator Skills on map and fuse them into Fusion Skills for massive power spikes. Keep Operator Skill on a fast key (Q). High sensitivity 70 — fights are fast and Overdrive rewards aggressive multi-kills to gain skill charges.
Hardpoint: Mayhem — Anchor role. Anchor holds the hardpoint and scores big for time on point. Setup: slow-moderate sensitivity (55) for steady aim while defending a fixed zone. Shotgun or SMG+AR combo. Crouch on Ctrl to reduce hitbox. Use Scorestreak (Q) for area denial when pushed.
Hardpoint: Mayhem — Rover role. Rovers flank and rotate; constant movement earns Rover score. High sensitivity 75 for snap-turns mid-run. SMG primary — hold Shift to sprint between points. Never stay still: check minimap, rotate before enemies reinforce. Flash on G to push a defended hardpoint.
S7 Lockdown BR mode on Rebirth Island — respawns active, so aggression pays. Unlike classic BR, dying isn't fatal: push hard, capture objectives, respawn and go again. Sensitivity 65 balances BR looting and fast engagements. Overload class (Shock Stick) on Q interrupts enemy revives — key mechanic.
Terminator T-800 Operator style build — S7 "Terminated" collab. Thematic: heavy AR + melee finisher (like the T-800's relentless rifle style). Heavy assault AR at long range, knife on V for close executions. Moderate sensitivity, slow deliberate shots. You don't rush — enemies come to you.
Built for SMG multiplayer on GameLoop: high standard and firing sensitivity so a mouse flick clears a room, with ADS kept lower than hip-fire so tracking does not overshoot. Start here if you play Shipment-style maps and rarely scope past 2×.
A middle setting that survives both close fights and a 3×/4× hold. Each optic steps down as magnification rises, which keeps the on-screen speed of your crosshair roughly constant between scopes — the property that actually makes a config feel consistent.
Low across the board and paired with 400 DPI, so the smallest mouse movement you can make is still smaller than a head. The long-glass rows drop fastest; 8× at 40 is deliberately slow because at that magnification a 1 cm mouse move already crosses a body.
BR asks for more scope work and more third-person turning than multiplayer does. Slightly calmer than the MP baseline, with the sniper row filled in because you will end up holding one.
Deliberately unexciting. If you are new to CODM on a mouse, start slower than feels right, play twenty matches, then raise standard sensitivity in steps of 10 until you stop under-turning. Changing every slider at once teaches you nothing.
Tuned for Domination, Hardpoint and Search and Destroy, where you spend half the match holding a lane and the other half sprinting around a corner. 1000 DPI buys back some turn speed without touching Standard — useful for the 180° checks that objective play demands.
For 1600 DPI mice. The key insight is that effective turning speed is DPI × in-game sensitivity, not in-game sensitivity alone. Halving sensitivity at double DPI lands the same crosshair speed — but every step you physically move now maps to a smaller on-screen movement, so micro-corrections become possible that 800 DPI cannot produce.
