The Cronen Squall sits in CODM's AR tier and earns its keep at medium range where the 3× tactical is the workhorse optic. This config steps sensitivity down evenly from standard to 3× so the crosshair speed in-game stays roughly the same regardless of what you're looking through — the property that makes a config feel consistent rather than jarring. The 4× row is intentionally tighter, as the gun runs out of steam past that zoom.

The 1000 DPI is deliberate: at standard 115 it gives effective sensitivity mid-way between the close-range and sniper baselines, surviving both short corridors and 60–80 m holds without a config swap. Work through Veteran → Elite → Legendary; drop standard by 10 if you are overshooting.

Battle of the Bots is a team-elimination LTM where engagements happen fast and the action is densely packed. A higher standard and firing than the ranked baseline suits the constant rotations; scopes matter less (matches tend to resolve before anyone needs a 4×). The 800 DPI/130 standard combination is intentionally aggressive — in a respawn mode you can afford to play looser than in Search or ranked.

The S7 Terminator crossover events put you in timed kill-streaks where turn speed is more valuable than precision. This is the fastest of the editorial baselines — run it only for event modes, not for ranked. At 1200 DPI the physical resistance your mouse surface provides slows micro-movements naturally, so the high in-game numbers do not make ADS feel unhinged if your surface has reasonable friction.

For 1600 DPI mice. The key insight is that effective turning speed is DPI × in-game sensitivity, not in-game sensitivity alone. Halving sensitivity at double DPI lands the same crosshair speed — but every step you physically move now maps to a smaller on-screen movement, so micro-corrections become possible that 800 DPI cannot produce.
