PUBG Mobile on GameLoop PC: Best Settings for Performance in 2026

GameLoop is Tencent's own emulator — PUBG Mobile runs on its native stack. Most "low FPS" complaints trace to three settings the installer never touches by default.

GameLoop is built by Tencent, the same company that developed PUBG Mobile. The game installs through Game Center without sideloading, uses the official client, and runs on a stack that Tencent engineers have direct access to optimize. That does not mean the defaults are correct — they are not — but it does mean you are not fighting compatibility layers that were bolted together from the outside.

Install

Search "PUBG Mobile" in the GameLoop Game Center. The installer pulls the official Play Store client. Sign in with your PUBG Mobile account after the first launch. Progress transfers from mobile automatically; if you play on a guest account on mobile, link it to a social account before switching to PC — guest data cannot migrate.

GameLoop settings before you launch the game

These are set in GameLoop itself, not inside PUBG Mobile.

Open GameLoop Settings (the gear icon in the top bar). Under Engine:

  • Rendering Engine: DirectX+ is the recommended choice for most systems. If you see visual corruption or the game fails to launch, try DirectX (the non-plus variant) or OpenGL+ as a fallback.
  • Resolution: Set to your monitor's native resolution. A mismatch between GameLoop's rendering resolution and PUBG Mobile's in-game resolution causes unnecessary scaling.
  • Memory: 4096 MB minimum. PUBG Mobile's assets are large. 4 GB keeps the game from streaming textures mid-match; 6 GB gives headroom on higher-end systems.
  • CPU Cores: Set to the number of physical cores you have, up to 4. PUBG Mobile does not scale past 4; assigning more does nothing useful.

Under Performance:

  • Frame Rate Limit: Off. Let PUBG Mobile's own frame-rate cap control the ceiling.
  • Power Mode: Performance. This disables GameLoop's internal frame governor so it does not cap output below what the game requests.

In-game graphics settings

Open PUBG Mobile → Settings → Graphics.

Frame Rate is the most important choice. Options available depend on your hardware and the device profile PUBG Mobile assigns:

Frame RateWhat you need
Smooth 60fpsAny machine that runs GameLoop at all
HD 60fpsMid-range: 6-core CPU, GTX 1060 or equivalent
Ultra HD 60fpsHigh-end: 8-core CPU, RTX 2060 or equivalent
90 / 120fpsConfirmed-stable machine; requires GameLoop Performance Mode on

Start at Smooth 60fps. Once you confirm the game holds 60fps without drops, raise the Graphics quality. If you chase 120fps before verifying stability, you will not be able to tell whether stutters are from the frame rate target or something else.

Graphics Quality: the in-game value (Smooth / Balanced / HD / HDR / UHD) affects asset detail and shadow resolution. Smooth and Balanced look very similar on a 1080p monitor; the difference is in shadow quality and foliage density. On machines with 8 GB RAM and a dedicated GPU, HD is the reasonable floor.

Style (Classic / Realistic / Colorful): this affects color grading and post-processing, not rendering load. Classic is the competitive choice — it applies less color saturation, which makes distant enemies slightly easier to spot against neutral backgrounds.

Shadows: this is where PC settings diverge most from mobile. On mobile, shadows are disabled entirely on Smooth. On PC through GameLoop, you have resources to spare. Shadows enabled helps you see player silhouettes in partial cover — a concrete gameplay advantage. Set to On.

Anti-aliasing: Ultra High on machines with a dedicated GPU. None on integrated graphics only — the blur AA introduces on low-end hardware costs more in readability than the jagged edges it removes.

Auto-adjust Graphics: Off. PUBG Mobile will reduce settings mid-match if it detects performance drops. On PC, you want your chosen settings to stay fixed so you can diagnose issues clearly.

Sensitivity

PUBG Mobile's sensitivity panel has twelve separate sliders. Do not copy someone else's numbers directly and expect them to feel correct — body size, mousepad friction, and how you grip the mouse all affect what is comfortable.

The reliable starting approach:

  1. Set General sensitivity to 50.
  2. Set every scope sensitivity (Red Dot, 2×, 3×, 4×, 6×, 8×) to 50.
  3. Play ten matches at these values.
  4. After each match, adjust one slider: lower any scope that felt like it was spinning past your target, raise any scope that felt slow and sticky.
  5. After ten matches, your adjustments are calibrated to your actual hardware and grip rather than someone else's.

The common mistake is adjusting everything at once. Change one slider per session until you understand what each one does.

Keymapping

PUBG Mobile on GameLoop installs with a default keymapping layout. The defaults work but are not optimized. The following table reflects what competitive PC players use and why:

ActionDefaultRecommendedReason
MovementWASDWASD (no change)
FireLeft mouse buttonLeft mouse button
ADS / ScopeRight mouse buttonRight mouse button
Peek left / rightQ / EQ / E
CrouchCC
ProneZZ
JumpSpaceSpace
ReloadRR
MapMM
InventoryII
Third-person / First-person toggleVV
Throw grenadeGG
Lean autoOffOnPressing the ADS key while near cover automatically leans — eliminates the extra key press

The one setting worth changing immediately: in Smart Tool → ADS Mode, switch from Toggle to Hold. Toggle ADS means a single click enters ADS and a second click exits it. Hold means ADS exits the moment you release the right mouse button. Hold is what every FPS on PC uses by default. Toggle causes you to stay zoomed in after you release the button, which breaks the rhythm of peek-fire-back-to-cover.

Troubleshoot

IssueFix
Game crashes on startupGameLoop Settings → Engine → Rendering Engine → try DirectX+ first; if it still crashes, try OpenGL+
Stuck at loading screen after updateWait 10–15 minutes (shader compilation on first run after an update), then restart GameLoop if it never clears
FPS drops in the final circleLower in-game Graphics Quality one step; the final circle area concentrates all remaining players and effects
Mouse cursor appears mid-gamePress F10 to toggle cursor lock, or check if another application stole focus
Voice chat not workingGameLoop Settings → Audio → set device to your actual headset, not "Default"
Black screen when alt-tabbingDo not alt-tab during a match; minimize via the GameLoop taskbar icon instead
Game detects as modified / bansYou are likely running a third-party overlay or macro software — GameLoop's anti-cheat stack is the same as the live PUBG Mobile client; no special bypass is required or available

Questions

Will my account get banned for using GameLoop? No. PUBG Mobile explicitly supports GameLoop as an official emulator. Accounts on GameLoop play in the same matchmaking pool as mobile players; emulator use is permitted under the terms of service.

Can I use a controller? Yes. Connect a Bluetooth or USB controller, then open GameLoop's controller mapping settings. PUBG Mobile has native controller support — many settings auto-configure. Adjust dead zones in both GameLoop and in-game settings if input feels sluggish.

Do emulator players match against mobile players? Yes. PUBG Mobile separates emulator and mobile queues at Classic matches. Emulator players queue against other emulator players, not against touchscreen mobile players. This is different from CODM, which does not separate queues by input method.

The game runs fine at 60fps but skips briefly every few minutes. This is usually background patcher activity — PUBG Mobile downloads content updates while you play. Check the in-game notification area for an active download; it will complete and the skips will stop. If skips continue after any download finishes, lower GameLoop memory allocation to 4096 MB if you had it higher (excess allocation can cause garbage collection pauses).
