Step one: update GameLoop before anything else
Do not try to enter a match before updating. Post-patch, the PUBG Mobile servers only accept clients running the current version. Attempting to queue on an outdated client will result in a server rejection error.
How to update on GameLoop:
- Open the GameLoop launcher (not a PUBG Mobile shortcut directly).
- The launcher will detect the available update and show a download prompt. Accept it.
- The download is typically 1.5 GB to 2.5 GB depending on your current client version. Allow it to complete fully before launching.
- After the update installs, launch PUBG Mobile from within GameLoop. Do not launch via a desktop shortcut until you confirm the client opens correctly inside the emulator environment.
If the launcher does not detect the update automatically, open My Games → PUBG Mobile → Update. On slower connections, the launcher queue can take up to 20 minutes to populate — refresh once if needed, do not reinstall.
Before Tuesday: Season 31 ranked final push
Season 31 classic ranked closes at UTC midnight on 11 September 2026. If you are within range of a rank tier reward you want to claim, you have roughly 48 hours from now to reach it.
Where to check your progress: Classic → Ranked → Season summary. This screen shows your current tier, the rewards locked to it, and the gap to the next tier above.
How to move rank efficiently in 48 hours:
- Play Conqueror/Ace tier lobbies before peak hours. Lobbies thin after midnight local time, which means faster match resolution and less queue time per game.

- Prioritise survival over kills. In the final push, placement points outweigh kill points at every tier below Ace. Play the circle, not the fight. Top 10 placement in a 15-kill lobby gives you fewer points than a top 3 with 4 kills.
- Do not reset. Some players accidentally trigger a rank reset by changing region. Lock your region in Lobby → Settings → Server before queuing.
Ultimate Royale: the window for Season 31 Ultimate Royale rewards has already closed (it ended 7 September). If you missed it, there is nothing to do there — focus entirely on classic ranked before the 11th.
After Tuesday: Season 32 Day 1 setup on GameLoop
Season 32 opens immediately after Season 31 closes. Early ranked games in a new season carry more volatility — the matchmaking system is recalibrating everyone's MMR simultaneously, which means lobby quality is inconsistent for the first 3 to 5 days. Use this to your advantage.
Day 1 and Day 2 are the best days to rank up quickly. Lobbies mix players across a wide MMR range while the system settles. Aggressive, confident play is rewarded more in this window than at any other point in the season.
Ranked placement in Season 32: Your starting tier in Season 32 is determined by your Season 31 final rank, minus a demotion penalty. If you closed Season 31 at Platinum I, you will open Season 32 at Gold-tier range. Use the first week to climb back past your Season 31 floor before the lobby quality stabilises.
GameLoop settings to recheck after the update
Major PUBG Mobile updates occasionally reset graphics or audio settings back to defaults. After 4.6 installs, before your first ranked match, verify these:
