Last War: Survival on PC with GameLoop — Setup, Keymapping and Settings

Last War: Survival is a base-building strategy game with hero battles and real-time alliance warfare. Running it on GameLoop gives you a 24-inch monitor, a real keyboard for alliance chat, and the ability to leave it running in a window without draining your phone battery.

Last War: Survival has no official PC client. The developer (First Fun) ships it exclusively for iOS and Android. To play on a desktop or laptop, an Android emulator is the only option.

GameLoop works for Last War: Survival. The game passes installation and launches cleanly. It is a tapping-heavy strategy game rather than a twitch game, so the control translation from touch to keyboard is less demanding than with shooters — but there are still several settings worth getting right.

Install

  1. Open GameLoop and go to Game Center.
  2. Search "Last War Survival" (with or without the colon — both return results).
  3. If the game appears, click Install to pull it from the Play Store directly.
  4. If it does not appear in the Game Center, use APK Install: download the Last War: Survival APK from APKMirror (original signed package only, not modified), then drag it into the GameLoop window.

After installation, sign in with your Game Center account or Facebook. Your base, resources, and alliance carry over from mobile. You can switch between PC and mobile freely without losing progress.

Emulator Settings

Last War: Survival is not graphically demanding. It will run on any machine capable of running GameLoop at all. The main settings to adjust:

Memory: Set RAM to 2048 MB minimum. 3072 MB is more comfortable, especially if you run the game alongside a browser or Discord.

Resolution: 1920×1080. The game's UI scales well to this resolution and the larger map view is the main benefit of playing on PC.

FPS: 60. The game is not frame-dependent the way a shooter is, but 60 FPS keeps the hero battle sequences and march animations smooth.

Renderer: OpenGL ES 3.0 is default and works correctly for Last War: Survival. No need to change this.

Android version: Keep the default (Android 9 or 12, depending on your GameLoop version). No specific requirement for this game.

Keymapping

Last War: Survival is a strategy game — the primary interaction is tapping on the base, the map, and menus. There is no joystick movement. GameLoop's Virtual Cursor is the relevant feature, not the WASD keymapper.

Enable Virtual Cursor:

  1. Open the GameLoop keyboard editor while Last War: Survival is running.
  2. Add a Mouse Cursor control. This makes your regular mouse cursor visible and functional within the emulator window.
  3. Set Scroll to zoom if you want to use the mouse wheel for the world map zoom level.

Recommended bindings for menus and common actions:

ActionKey
Speed-up build (confirm)Enter
Collect resourcesC
Alliance helpH
Open world mapM
Close / backEscape
Zoom in / outMouse scroll wheel

The exact layout for these shortcuts depends on what you find yourself tapping most often. After a session or two you will identify your most-used taps and it is worth assigning keys to them.

Alliance chat: The mouse-based text input works normally. Click the chat field, type with your real keyboard, and press Enter. This alone is a significant improvement over mobile for players who communicate actively in their alliance.

Performance Tips

Last War: Survival runs mostly idle while buildings construct or marches travel. The CPU load spikes during hero battle auto-simulations and the real-time battle sequences.

  • Do not lower RAM below 2 GB. The game's asset loading fills available memory quickly; too little RAM causes stuttering during base load.
  • Close other emulator instances during hero battle sequences if you notice frame drops.
  • Disable battery-saver mode in both Windows and GameLoop if you are running the game overnight. Low-power modes can throttle the CPU below the threshold needed to keep timers accurate.

Running Multiple Accounts

Last War: Survival allows only one account per Google account. If you want to run a farm account alongside your main account, use GameLoop's multi-instance feature:

  1. Open the Multi-Player section in GameLoop.
  2. Create a second instance.
  3. Install Last War: Survival in the second instance and log in with a different account.

Both instances can run simultaneously. This is the main advantage PC offers over mobile for players managing secondary accounts.

FAQ

Does Last War: Survival ban emulator players? No documented emulator ban policy exists for Last War: Survival as of 2026. The game focuses anti-cheat on automation and account boosting, not platform origin. Normal gameplay on an emulator carries no meaningful ban risk based on current community reports.

Can I use a controller? You can connect an Xbox or PlayStation controller, but it adds little value for a strategy game. The mouse is faster for navigating menus and the world map.

The game asked for a Google Play Games account — is that required? On GameLoop, you can log in with Facebook or the in-game guest option instead. Google Play Games sign-in is optional.

The game looks blurry on a large monitor. Increase the DPI setting in GameLoop's emulator settings from 160 to 240. Last War: Survival renders at higher DPI when available, and the difference on a large screen is visible.

Does the game download additional content after install? Yes. Expect 1–2 GB of additional downloads on first launch. This is normal. Let the download complete before entering your base.
