CODM Season 7 Terminated release time for GameLoop PC players

When Season 7 goes live on 5 August, what time that is in your region, and how to have GameLoop ready before the patch lands.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 — Terminated — launches on 5 August 2026. Based on Activision's consistent schedule for recent seasons, the patch is expected to go live at 5 PM Pacific Time on that date. Here is what that means in every major region, and what to have in place before then.

Release time by region

RegionLocal time
Pacific Time (Los Angeles)5 August, 5:00 PM PT
Eastern Time (New York)5 August, 8:00 PM ET
UK / Ireland6 August, 1:00 AM BST
Central Europe6 August, 2:00 AM CEST
Turkey6 August, 3:00 AM TRT
India6 August, 5:30 AM IST
China / Singapore6 August, 8:00 AM CST / SGT
Japan / Korea6 August, 9:00 AM JST / KST
Eastern Australia6 August, 10:00 AM AEST

These times are based on Activision's pattern for recent CODM season launches. Activision does not always announce exact times in advance — if an official time is confirmed before 5 August, it takes priority.

Maintenance window

A server maintenance window typically precedes the season launch by one to two hours. During maintenance, you can still open GameLoop and reach the CODM title screen, but matchmaking is suspended. The Season 7 updater prompt does not appear until maintenance ends.

Maintenance start is usually one to two hours before the release time above. Expect a window somewhere between 3 PM and 5 PM PT on 5 August, with matchmaking resuming once the patch is live.

What GameLoop PC players need to do before the patch

Check that your current GameLoop session works. Open GameLoop and launch CODM at least once before 5 August. If there is a pre-existing problem — crash, black screen, stuck on loading — it is far easier to diagnose before millions of players are hammering servers on launch day.

Export your keybind layout. Major season patches reset custom keybinds to default. Take a screenshot of your current layout now, or write down any keys you have customised. Restoring from a screenshot takes about two minutes. Reconstructing from memory in the middle of your first Season 7 match takes considerably longer.

Note your graphics settings. Season patches also reset graphics presets. Write down your renderer (DX11 or DX9), frame cap, and resolution so you can restore them in under a minute after the update.

Disconnect your VPN before downloading. Season patches use geo-routed content delivery. A VPN consistently routes your traffic away from the nearest download node and slows the download. Disconnect before starting the patch and reconnect afterward if needed.

Budget time for the download. A major season patch typically runs 1–3 GB on an existing installation. Waiting one to two hours after the announced launch time usually yields faster download speeds than queuing at exactly 5 PM PT, when server load is highest.

What is new in Season 7 Terminated

Season 7 introduces the Terminator crossover alongside three new weapons: the RUS-79U SMG (available free through the Secret Cache event), the JOKR lock-on launcher, and the Hades LMG. New modes include Gulag in Battle Royale and RC-XD Racing. Full content details are in the Season 7 hub guide.

After the update

Your first step after the patch downloads: restore your keybinds and graphics settings before entering a match. Season patches reliably reset both. The day-one checklist walks through every post-update step in order.

If the download stalls or the game does not update correctly, the Season 7 update guide covers every failure mode and how to clear it on GameLoop PC.
