CODM S7 Arcade Event guide — free operator and blueprints on GameLoop PC

Season 7's Arcade Event rewards you for playing the three new modes — Overdrive, Hardpoint Mayhem, and Lockdown. Here is what you earn and how to complete every milestone efficiently on GameLoop PC.

The Arcade Event is Season 7 Terminated's main free reward track. Playing the three new modes — Operator Skill Overdrive, Hardpoint: Mayhem, and Lockdown — earns Arcade Points that advance a milestone ladder. The top reward is the Jet — Golden Flaw operator, plus five Epic blueprints distributed across earlier milestones.

Everything in this event is free. No battle pass, no purchase required.

What you earn

The Arcade Event milestone track awards:

  • Jet — Golden Flaw operator skin — the primary reward, earned at the final milestone
  • 5 Epic weapon blueprints — spread across intermediate milestones
  • Smaller cosmetic rewards (sprays, calling cards, charms) at early checkpoints

The event runs for the duration of Season 7 (from August 5 through the end of the season, typically six weeks). There is no single-day deadline for individual milestones, but the event closes permanently at season end — every unclaimed reward disappears.

How to earn Arcade Points

Arcade Points come from completing matches in any of the three qualifying modes:

  • Operator Skill Overdrive — the fastest mode for farming points per hour. Matches are shorter than standard MP and Arcade Points accrue per match completion, not per kill. Wins award slightly more than losses, but finishing a match is the primary trigger.
  • Hardpoint: Mayhem — slightly longer match cadence than Overdrive. Points per hour are similar to Overdrive if you are comfortable with role-based play. The Anchor role tends to rack up the most objective time, which correlates with match score.
  • Lockdown (Battle Royale) — longer matches than MP modes. Points-per-match are proportionally higher to compensate, but points-per-hour are lower than Overdrive for most players. Play Lockdown for variety or when the other two modes are queuing slowly.

All three modes count toward the same Arcade Points pool. There is no per-mode requirement — you can complete the entire event in Overdrive if you prefer.

Efficient farming on GameLoop PC

On GameLoop, Overdrive is the fastest Arcade Point source for most PC players because the mouse advantage in gunfight more than compensates for the mode's competitive pressure.

A few practical points for PC play:

Match completion is the trigger, not performance. You do not need top scores or kills per match to earn Arcade Points efficiently. Focus on completing matches cleanly rather than optimizing K/D.

Operator Skill activation matters in Overdrive. The Overdrive mode rewards players who actively use and fuse Operator Skills — not just for scoring but because skill fusions occasionally trigger bonus point multipliers. Map your Operator Skill key (default: Q in Smart Tool) so it is comfortable to activate every 30–45 seconds.

Lockdown respawns change the risk calculation. In Lockdown BR, dying is less costly than standard BR because respawns are active. Play more aggressively in Lockdown than you would in standard BR — it earns points faster.

Checking your progress

Progress is tracked in Events → Arcade Event. The milestone bar shows your current Arcade Point total and the distance to each reward tier.

On GameLoop, the Events tab opens inside the CODM window at the top of the main menu. Navigating to it with mouse click is faster than the in-game controller navigation. Check after each session to confirm points are registering — there have been occasional delays in point display that resolve after exiting and re-entering the Events screen.

If your Arcade Points appear stuck:

  1. Exit the Events screen and re-enter it — display caching is the most common cause
  2. If still stuck after two sessions, restart GameLoop and re-open CODM — the in-game client sometimes de-syncs point counts from the server after long sessions

Stacking Arcade progress with the Terminator event

Season 7 runs two major event tracks simultaneously: the Arcade Event (new modes) and the Terminator × CODM event (T-800 and T-1000 missions). The two tracks are independent — playing Overdrive or Mayhem advances Arcade Points but does not count toward Terminator event missions, and vice versa.

The efficient approach for the first two weeks: complete a block of Terminator missions first (they are time-sensitive and lore-flavoured, so completing them early feels more natural), then switch to Overdrive farming for Arcade Points.

Terminator missions do not require specific modes — they track kills, Operator Skills, and match objectives across all standard MP and BR modes. This means Overdrive matches can advance some Terminator mission objectives while also earning Arcade Points, depending on the current mission list.
