CODM Season 7 Terminated — new weapons for GameLoop PC players
The free legendary RUS-79U, the JOKR launcher, and the Hades LMG arrive on 5 August. Here is what each one means on a keyboard-and-mouse setup.
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7, officially named Terminated, launches on 5 August 2026. Three new weapons arrive in the season, and every active player receives the Legendary RUS-79U SMG for free through the Secret Cache event. Here is what GameLoop PC players need to know about each weapon before the patch drops.
The free RUS-79U — your first priority
The RUS-79U arrives as a free Legendary reward — the "Mystical Lamp" variant — earnable through the Season 7 Secret Cache milestone. Because every player can unlock it without spending CP, expect it to appear in nearly every lobby for the first two weeks of the season.
On GameLoop, the RUS-79U is a high-fire-rate close-range SMG. The key tuning note for PC players is ADS sensitivity: the weapon rewards quick flick-and-track aim, which on a mouse means you will overshoot at its optimal engagement range if your ADS multiplier is too high. Start at 0.80–0.85 of your looking sensitivity and adjust from there.
For fire mode binding in Smart Tool, use hold-to-fire rather than tap-to-fire. The RUS-79U is designed for continuous-fire at close range. A tap-to-fire binding creates unintended pauses that hurt at the weapon's best range.
The JOKR launcher
The JOKR uses a lock-on fire-and-forget system rather than manual aim. On mobile, locking on requires holding the target in the crosshair for about one second before the missile commits. On GameLoop, this maps to holding right-mouse-button aim on a stationary target and waiting for the audio cue before releasing. The timing is identical to mobile — the feel is different because you are holding a mouse button rather than physically orienting a device.
The JOKR occupies the dedicated launcher loadout slot, so it does not displace a primary weapon. If you have not run a launcher-slot class before, set one up in your loadout editor before 5 August. Confirm the lock-on behavior in the training range first — it is not intuitive the first time.
The Hades LMG
LMGs gain significant recoil reduction and tighter bullet spread when mounted behind cover in CODM. On GameLoop, assign your mount interaction key near a surface and use ADS to engage from a stationary position. The Hades will reward a patient playstyle over mobile aggression.
LMGs impose the heaviest ADS movement penalty of any weapon class. On GameLoop this shows as a noticeably slower strafe speed when you are right-clicking. Adjust your ADS strafe sensitivity if you find yourself over-correcting while tracking a target at range.
One detail to confirm at launch: whether the Hades uses a belt-fed animation (slower reload, allows firing through a partial magazine) or a standard magazine reload. Belt-fed weapons have a different partial-reload interaction that can catch keyboard players off guard if they cancel mid-animation.
Crossover events
Terminator × CODM: A collaboration event brings Terminator-themed operators and weapon blueprints. Cosmetic only — no mechanical changes to weapons or modes.
Girls Frontline × CODM: A second crossover with Girls Frontline characters. Again, purely cosmetic.
Both events run during the Season 7 window and do not affect weapon stats or GameLoop keymapping.
RC-XD Racing Mode (Mini Mayhem)
Mini Mayhem is a limited-time mode where you control an RC-XD car. On GameLoop, the RC-XD controls remap to your keyboard — expect WASD driving and a dedicated key for detonation. If you played this mode in a previous season, the GameLoop control mapping will be familiar. Check your Smart Tool key layout when the mode goes live if anything feels off.
What to do before 5 August
Set up a launcher-slot loadout now so you can immediately test the JOKR without rebuilding your existing classes on launch day. Tune your ADS sensitivity on your current close-range SMG class so the value is ready to apply directly to the RUS-79U.
The Season 7 Terminated page on callofduty.com is now live. Final weapon stats and patch notes publish on launch day.
