Clash of Clans has no aim axis and no sensitivity setting; on an emulator the only thing worth configuring is how fast you can select and drop an army. Number keys for troops, so a full deploy never needs the mouse to leave the base.
The half people forget: panning and zooming. Middle-click drag to move the map and the scroll wheel to zoom makes scouting a base far quicker than dragging with the left button, which deploys troops by accident.
Both the troop deploy and the navigation keys in one layout. The idea is that you start an attack with number keys selecting an army, left click to place troops, and then switch to scroll-wheel zoom and middle-click pan to read the base as it unfolds — without stopping to remap anything. Spell Slot on 7 and Siege Machine on 8 are optional rows; omit them if your army never uses one.
Clan War League 3-star specialist. Map overview first — zoom out fully to read base layout, then plan. Medium DPI so precision spell drops aren't shaky. Keyboard shortcuts save 2-3 seconds per attack.
Legend League daily 8-attack routine. Speed is important. Pre-set your army number shortcuts before Legend starts. Scroll speed medium — too fast and you lose base awareness.
Spell placement precision — zoom IN when placing Freeze, Earthquake, Invisibility. I use 1600 DPI for fast cursor movement across the base, then precision clicks. No wasted spells.
Attack-optimised keybinds. Number keys 1-9 map to your army slots for instant troop deployment without clicking. Practice war and legend attacks daily — muscle memory is everything.
TH16 max setup. Camera scroll speed 100 — too fast and you lose the attack overview. Zoom: pull back during army drop, zoom in for spell placement. F for fast forward in replays.
